Does he have a clue?

Geo. Bush, presumptive president, stated today that the terrorists attacked us because they hate freedom. Does he not subscribe to Dogbert's clue of the month club? Nobody hates a group of people because they're free. Doesn't Bush think that we, as the most powerful nation in the West, did something to upset people in other countries? He already admits to making no mistakes in his life, other than maybe dealing with Alex Rodriguez, so maybe he just doesn't imagine the possibility of policies like "Isreal may kill Palestinian people and the Palestians have no right to complain" just may piss somebody off. Somebody with enough controlled rage that they formulated a plan not to bomb an airplane, but use an airplane as a bomb.

The man just doesn't get it. CNN reports that "He is demanding that Congress make the law's provisions permanent." (refering to the Patriot Act). He demands? He's the President, not a monarch. He doesn't seem to know the difference.
