Sit-Com Day
Today is a sit-com day. Every weekday we get up, have breakfast, I make Stephanie lunch, kiss her goodbye, and she leaves for work. I log on to the internet to check my email and the news. I can spend several hours a day online. Today was no exception and I was online for two hours this morning. I usually check my email a second time before logging off for a mid morning writing session and then I check again in the early afternoon.
About 9:15 this morning I saw that there was an email from Stephanie asking that I bring her the planner that she left behind. Oops. I notice that the email was sent at 8:58. I log off, find the planner, and leave. I get to her school and I check into the front office. They say "Stephanie went home." Apparently we passed each other. Oops 2. I called home a few times but didn't catch her. Luckily she got home, saw I was gone, saw that the planner was gone, and went back to work.
On the writing front, Murder in Exile was rejected. That's ok. I was expecting that. I'm only bothered a little bit.
Just a bit.
