It's not about wanting Terri to die
Once again, conservatives get it wrong. I read an interesting letter in this morning's paper saying that if President Bush wants the Ten Commandments posted in government buildings, then his administration should follow those same ten commandments.
In the case of these pundits, all of whom supported Roy Moore's position, should admit that they are breaking the commandments themselves by bearing false witness. Every doctor who has performed tests and examined Terri Schiavo has determined that she is in a state of permanent vegetation. Her brain will not recover. Her husband has the right to make the decisions for her, that's what marriage is about. These right wingers (sorry, in the case of O'Reilly an independant who just happens to agree with everything the Republicans say and disagrees with everything the Democrats say) talk about how important it is that traditional marriage be honored, and they want the courts to take away Michael Schiavo's right as a husband to make life-or-death decisions for his wife.
Consistency is all I ask for in a pundit.
